— Our Company
A school built around
careful learning
Gradientco was founded in Bangkok to offer online AI education that takes its subject seriously — measured pacing, real feedback, and no false promises.
Back to Home— Our Story
How Gradientco came about
Gradientco began as a small study group. A few people working in data-adjacent roles in Bangkok noticed the same gap: practical ML courses assumed a mathematical fluency that most working professionals had not kept up since university. The available options were either too shallow (skipping the maths entirely) or too broad (dense academic textbooks with no applied focus).
The first version of what became the Mathematics for Machine Learning pathway was written on paper — literally. Worked derivations, diagrams drawn with a pencil, and example problems adapted from real tasks. That atelier-like approach to preparation became part of how we now write all our materials: every lesson is built around something a learner can follow with a pencil in hand, not just a passive video.
We expanded into computer vision and natural language processing over the following two years, adding mentor office hours and written project feedback when we found that the most common point of difficulty was not understanding the material in isolation, but applying it under real constraints.
Today Gradientco operates from Bangkok and works with learners across Southeast Asia who are building technical skills in AI development alongside their existing work or studies.
Our approach in short
- Courses are described accurately — expected hours per week, assumed prior knowledge, and what is and is not included in the fee.
- Learning materials are designed to be worked through, not just watched. Notebooks, practice sets, and written feedback are part of the structure.
- We don't make claims about job outcomes. What we can describe is what the course contains and how it is structured.
— The People
Who works on the courses
Panya Siriworakul
Curriculum Director
Panya wrote the Mathematics for ML pathway and oversees the technical accuracy of all course materials. His background is in applied mathematics and statistical modelling.
Nattawan Klaewkla
Computer Vision Lead
Nattawan designs and delivers the Computer Vision course, writes the project briefs, and conducts written project reviews. She works in computer vision research alongside her teaching.
Wichit Thammarat
NLP Lead & Mentor
Wichit leads the NLP pathway, runs mentor office hours, and reviews student code submissions. He has worked with transformer-based models in production settings since 2020.

How we approach course quality
Annual curriculum review
Each course is reviewed in full each year. Topics are updated where the field has moved on, and practice notebooks are tested against current library versions.
Structured learner feedback
We collect written feedback after each course module. Recurring points of confusion are addressed in the next revision cycle, and significant errors are corrected promptly.
Data and privacy handling
Learner data is held securely and used only for course delivery and communication you have opted into. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
Written feedback standards
Project reviews in our CV and NLP courses follow a consistent rubric. Feedback is specific to your submission and addresses reasoning, not just correctness.
Honest course descriptions
We do not describe outcomes we cannot stand behind. Each course page states the assumed prior knowledge, the realistic weekly time commitment, and exactly what is included in the fee.
Responsive support
Enquiries sent to our office receive a reply within one business day. Technical issues with course access are prioritised and resolved within the same day where possible.
— What We Do
Online AI education in Bangkok
Gradientco writes and delivers online courses in AI development for learners in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Our three current pathways cover the mathematics underpinning machine learning practice, the practical application of computer vision techniques, and the study of natural language processing from classical methods through to transformer-based approaches.
All courses are self-paced and delivered as recorded lessons paired with hand-worked notebooks. The Computer Vision and NLP pathways include mentor office hours via video, giving learners a place to bring questions that arise during the notebooks or from their own projects. Written project reviews are built into those two courses as a deliberate part of the learning structure — not an optional add-on.
We operate from Bang Rak, Bangkok, and communicate in English. Our office is open Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00 ICT, and on Saturday mornings. Enquiries by phone or email are welcome during these hours.
